Proud owner ... and only one as I see it ... of a Springfield XD (service model) in .357 Sig. I love it ... and what a round! The recoil is nothing more than that of a .40.

I purchased the XD-9 service model a few months ago in OD. This is by far my favorite. Well worth the reasonable price I paid for it. Lots of nice accessories available as well!

My XD9 SC has become my favorite, it just replaced my S&W Model 60 (J frame) 357 mag snubbie as my favorite gun to shoot. Although the model 60 will remain in my collection for a long time. I soon will have a Sterm Ruger Security 6 357 mag with a 6" barrel which I gave to my son about 15 years ago. He wants to trade it for my Taurus PT 940. I think I am getting the better part of the deal.

Bought what I considered my first "real" pistol last week. Got the .45XD, belt holster, paddle holster, speedloader, double mag holster, 1 ten rnd and 2 thirteen rnd mags. I must say this gun has had me drueling for a couple days now. Hoping to put a couple thousand rounds through it this weekend finally.
The choice was between the Ruger P345 and the .45xd. After seeing the 2 in person and getting to hold both, it was no competition.

Anyone with any experience with these? | From what I hear from an owner, the ammo is really tuned down... needs to be since it was originally designed as an AP round. My understanding is that you'd be better off with a CZ 52.

| I'm new to the forum... XD-9 Service
Howdy Everyone,
I'm new to the forum -- first post. I just bought a Springfield Armory XD-9 Service and love it. Here's a pic right when I got it
Mine's the XD9101 variety. I love the accessories it comes with in the box. This is one awesome gun, especially for the price.
Thanks,
Ross

Got a 45 GAP 5", .357 Sig and .45 ACP. Obviously I like them. I recommend them to everyone. Have Glocks, but still like the XDs better.

I actually only paid 395.00 for my XD in .357 Sig... even the gun dealer was amazed at the low cost.

I traded my Glock 22 for an XD 40 service model today. Took it to the field and ran thirty rounds through it (all the time I had). Hit where I aimed it out of the box (Glock never did). It was comfortable and went back on target quickly. Great gun!!
