XD-45 Service, absolutely my favorite .45ACP semi. I am a GLOCK fan but this XD-45 is much more comfortable to shoot than my old GLOCK .45, very accurate and ergonomically correct.

Talking

Looks like I had managed to miss this thread till now.
I have 2, a 9 & a 45. I'll never shoot either one of them because they are 2 of 200 and the 9 is one of 12 in that 200.
These are 10th Special Forces commeratives that were authorized by the Gp DCO about 2 yrs ago and sold only in the SF community.
Here are some photos.

XD .40 Subcompact, XD 9MM Subcompact and my newest addition XD M 9 MM. I know it's not an XD but I also have a Springfield Stainless 1911 A 1 that words can't describe how much I like. I see an XD .45 in my future too. Just waiting to see if XD M comes out in .45 next.

The .40 Subcompact in my main carry gun. Over 2,000 rounds in 7 months and still going strong.

Talking XD40

Bought my XD 40 when they were new to the market, service model. Neighbor bought the Green model. Love the gun. Going down to local gun shop and order me a subcompact 40. Great for my big hands.

I love my .40 Subcompact. I have pretty big hands too and it fits fine. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Great carry gun.

Finally picked up my XD9sc a couple of weeks ago and can't say enought about it. It's very easy to carry which makes this a don't leave home without it gun for me. I bought a crossbreed supertuck holster and it really does a great job concealing the sc, even when I tuck my shirt in. Now I have to start planning my next Springfield purchase.

Glad you like it Scot. Looks like your hooked on Springfield too. Didn't take me long to be a Springfield addict and I've never looked back. I'm waiting for the XDM to come out in .45 so I can add one more to my collection.

XD owners sound off !

I have the .45 Compact with the 5in barrel. It is like having TWO guns for the price of ONE. With the 10 round mag it is a Compact. With the 13 rounder it is the same as the Service model. I carry it with the 10 rounder, at home it has the 13 rounder. I have an arthritic trigger finger first knuckle . I had a Glock mod 38, .45 GAP. and I couldn't get a good " set " on the trigger. With the XD I have no trouble at all with the trigger. Yes, I really like, maybe even LOVE my XD !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just bought one!

Just bought a new XD-9 Sub Compact today. I won't get to shoot for a couple of weeks, but at least I can fondle it until then.....
