XD .45 ACP with the 4" barrel, and also the 9mm with the 5" barrel. They are both great shooters, but the .45 is my favorite.

Just got an XD40 sub compact. Haven't actually gotten it yet I'm still waiting for it to get to my FFL. But if everything goes right and the weather holds up around here I should be able to shoot it on Thu. I can't wait

XD45 Black yesterday. Haven't fired it yet but I'll try to get to the range today. The XDs & G21s are selling very fast It's much harder to pull the slide back on the XD than my SIG 40. I've got a little arthritis in my right hand but I'll get used to it.

I wonder why my XD40 (service model) is such a soft shooter. It is the most accurate pistol I have and it comes back on target quicker than even my 9mm. It's fun to shoot, just expensive.

Love my new xd 9mm subcompact, just got it today...traded in my old ccw for this one and although I have not had it to range....tomorrow I hope...just think it feels and handles sweet....hope I feel that way after test fires tomorrow...stared out to get a Glock 26, but this one was sweet after I got it in my hands....

Quick correction.
Tactical does have the 5'' but the Service is a 4'' not 4.5
The New XDm has a 4.5'' barrel but according to the Springfield web sight none of the XD hand guns are 4.5''
