Can Somebody Tell Me

What kind of cut and the dimensions of the front sight on a Springfield Armory 1911A1 GI? I am trying to find a fiber optic front sight that will fit it.

LOL have you thought about maybe tritium, or neon inserts... But should be done only by a skilled certified gunsmith..... My eyes is tired too, but I can still make out my front sight ... Good Luck to you!

Check with Brownells. Their tech guys can point ya in the right direction. If I'm not mistaken it is a standard 1911 60x60 cut (60 deg. x .060wide)
