XD40 question

Hi all just have a quick XD40 question, when my magazine is fully loaded with 12 rounds it is very hard to release the magazine, when I load it with 8 rounds the mag release button is easy to push. The gun is brand new, I was just wondering if this may be normal, its not a big deal but just wanted someones opionion, thanks all

its normal. your magazine is under lot more pressure fully loaded, it will loosen up after a while
