tactical lightining

i have a xd-9 4in and i was wondering what everyone uses for a light. i have practiced holding a flash light in my left and shooting with the right. but ive been looking in getting a light for the rail. seems like alot of products are exspensive. ive been on ebay doing some searching.

are all gun/hand gun rails the same?

I think the XD series are unique,At least my regular rail tactical light would not fit.I too am looking for a good deal on a light.

Ebay has lights that they claim will fit the XD. Buy it now prices for around $90.00
Another option to consider is that Springfield offers a flashlight holder on their website for $24.00 that will accomodate nearly any 1" flashlight and is designed to fit the XD (4 & 5 in. models).

Found the insight SSL-1 on sale at BOTACH.COM for 69.95,Bought my first one 2 weeks ago and it works great,Have another coming for the AR.The battery prices are really good too.
