XD Subcompact 40 IWB holster

I have been having a tough time finding a good IWB holster or even in pocket holster for my XD Subcompact 40. The trigger slot seems to be bigger than most subcompacts. Anyone have a XD Subcompact holster they use and are happy with?

I think I found one. XD Subcompct owners check this out. Says "Glock" but the Cheaper Than Dirt Holster Wizzard" said it will work.

I'm gonna blow the horn for Crossbreed holsters again. I carry a PT140, a Taurus 247 OSS and a Springfield XD 45 all in the same holster. Ya the trigger is a tad bigger and squared off in the XD just like in the Taurus line so the XD will fit in good. He probably will custom fit one for you for your model, but if he doesn't have that particular mold then the Taurus PT140 will fit your XD with no problems.

Very comfortable on a long days carry...

Just got mine in today. Wearing my XD in it right now as I type and couldn't be happier. Can't even feel the gun and it comes in and out so easy. It says "Glock" but fits the XD Subcompact perfectly.

Some of the best holsters around are made by www.ubgholsters.com
One man operation, 7-9 week wait but well worth it.

Just clicked on the cheaper than dirt holster for $7.97. That's like buying a pair of socks for 100 bucks and putting on a $5 pair of shoes around them. You have a $500+ pistol, don't spoil it with anything less than a $70 holster. And you will receive all kinds of compliments while wearing it. Treat yourself, you deserve it. Just my 2 cents.

That was the only IWB holster I could find that fits the XD Subcompact. I even called Springfield directly and they didn't know of any that fir the trigger guard. Plus, this $7.97 holster fits, looks and feels great. Quality leather with great comfort. Why spend $70? I want something to comfortably carry and hide my gun not a high dollar status symbol.

XD 40 subcompact Iwb holster

Using a $7.95 holster to carry your firearm is like putting a $1500.00 Nikon DSLR on a $7.95 camera tripod. (Bad Idea).
A quality holster not only secures your firearm, but is suppose to allow you to help conceal your firearm, be comfortable, and allow your firearm to be drawn quickly when you need it.
If quality is not important then purchase the cheapest firearm that will fire your caliber of choice, and hope it works when you need it.
The holster is only one componet of your personal protection system. Finding out your cheesy holster doesn't do the job when you need it might be to late. Just 2 more cents.

Get a minotaur from comp-tac i have one. I love it.

Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster

The leather goes all the way up no metal touches your body and only the front half is kydex. It is very very comfortable. My buddy had a C-tac, the predecessor to the M-tac and he actually bought an M-tac after carrying mine for a month.

Looks kind of interesting, but I would definitely want to wear it over an undershirt to prevent chaffing against the skin. Not a fan of having to use both hands to unholster either, as he did in the video. Usually you would want to use your off hand to push away an aggressor if needed while using your gun hand to pull your piece.

Those are good points I never thought of. I'm with you on the undershit with maybe a button up on top.

I know that you are looking for an ITWB holster but consider this. These bands are so comfortable that I forget sometimes that I am carrying my XD SC.

Gary, next time you are up here, I will show you some of the IWB holsters I make. I'll also pay you for that can of Bullseye. or trade it for a custom IWB for your CZ 82

+1 for the CrossBreed Super Tuck. Carry one in horse hide every day. Well worth the money and the wait.
