| I just posed this question to Springfield last week and this is their answer: Good morning, I have not heard any mention of a .22 conversion; however, I will add your inquiry for future product suggestions. Thank you for your interest in Springfield! Enjoy the day! Best regards, Patti Boyer Customer Service Rep. Springfield Inc. 800-680-6866, Ext. 8924 Email: patti@springfield-armory.com |

that will be like driving a 4cylinders automatic corvette... now seriously to paper shooting and 500 rnds for $15 that make sense but it will change the weight, feel, and overall handling of the gun and how it feel in your hand, how you aim and how you return aim after every shot, remember that you will fight like you train, so train like you will have to fight.

I've never heard of such a thing either. I have heard of one for the AR-15 which is a neat idea...but not for the springfield.

Although this is assuming that the XD is his carry piece. Could be something different, which means that it wouldn't matter. | |
