Its works great in my Beretta 96 and my wife uses Blazer Brass in her XD 9mm subcompact. It's good ammo. And from what I've heard the XD's can shoot just about anything. What does the manufacture recommend?

I have shot well blazer brass through my Subcompact XD many times and never had an issue. I can't think of any ammo I have had issues with on either of my XD;s or my XDM. I have put everything from cheap range ammo to high dollar protection rounds to hand loads through them and never had an issue.

There has been a lot of controversy about Blazer aluminum cased ammo. I have seen 357 mag ammo cut through the topstrap of properly adjusted revolvers. I have also seen it wear grooves in the breachface of glock autos. Presumably aluminun oxides are formed when firing the stuff getting behind the cases as they are extracted. Glock nor Blount Holdingds will admitt nothing.

I know this is very much off topic but since Glock was brought up I'll ask. Maybe this should be asked in the handloading forum. I have been told that it is not good to reload any case that was fired from a Glock. Anyone know if that is true or a rumor started by a Glock hater?

I don't know if it's true or not but I shoot a Glock in both .357sig and .40. I also know 3 others that shoot Glocks in .40. Two of those shoot in the World Police and Fire Games every year. We all shoot a lot and we all handload for them. I haven't seen or heard of any problems from loading the brass.

The aluminum oxides can form while just sitting on the shelf, due to corrosion of the aluminum. I've read that if you buy it, use it up, do not store it for long periods. Very abrasive.

That's what I thought. I've picked up a lot of brass off the floor at my regular range and they are all yout typical Miami Glock Heads up there. Was almost hoping it were true because I'd have one more reason to dislike Glocks.

I have shot many different brands and weights of ammo through my XD .45 and have had not had any problems with any yet.

All factory (SAMMI spec) ammo and good reloads will work.

I've put Blazer Brass through my XD40 Service along with most everything else. I don't shoot steel cased anything, but I've yet to have a failure to feed or failure to fire.
