On the bottom of any G&G page there are three chat tabs. I've got a handle on the "New Chat, and the General Chat... and I know how to manipulate the "# of people here" list.
My question is... how is the "# of People Here" list populated? Ive seen the forum start page show hundreds of folks signed in, but the "People Here" list only shows about 30 or so. How's that work? ..

And why cant I get into the old chat at the top of the page? And why did the chicken cross the road?
To find the hypotenuse of a right triangle, the square root of the sum of the squares of the shorter legs must be used. This is the formula used to find the value of c.

And how come sometimes we can post an image by either using tags [IMG] or clicking the image icon:, but other times, the icon is not offered in the tools, and image tags don't work (leaving you with just a link in your post instead of a snazzy pic)?

Nerp. In the thread where I posted the pics of my pink primers, I posted the tags "[IMG]" the link and "[/IMG]" and it only showed up as a link.
When I clicked "edit" to change it, the tags were in the post, but in "preview" and the actual post...nerp, not so much!

And now me and Capt"n Mil Coll have a question since he and I are both fundamentally inquisitive guys always seeking knowledge and the answers to some of the ellusive questions and unexplained mysteries one might encounter in this life. So basically the question is what is the difference between and orange?
