Are links not allowed in posts?

Seems that posts that contain a link (other than an image) never appear. Is this against forum policy? I couldn't locate any rules where this was specified but I may just not be looking in the right place.

Links show up just fine. There is no policy against posting a link. In each post composition window, there is a link button for use to create links. There are numerous posts with links in them on the forum.

First..this was posted in the wrong section.

Second..I have a system scan each post. If you have less than 20 posts it looks to see if you post is spam. One feature of spam is links. I have to approve those posts, and I haven't gotten to it yet.
It tells you that the Administrator may need to moderate your comments when you post.

Sorry, new here and trying to learn the rules. I figured it had something to do with post count but the message that flashed up after I posted was gone so fast I couldn't read it.

Funny, how I move to California about 5 years ago and somehow happen to find a forum with moderators from NC. I lived in NC most of my life.

I moved to Selma about 5 years ago. Before that, I was in Smithfield for 5 years. I write a weekly column for The Selma News.

My mother still lives in Selma, actually, as does one of my Aunts. I try to get back there as often as I can but not as often as I would like.

I live between Selma Cotton Mill and Edgerton Memorial Methodist Church, if you are familiar with that area.

Ok, this is starting to get freaky - I lived on W Railroad street and went to Edgerton Methodist Church - it was practically in my back yard.
