***THE WAY IT WORKS***
**All Entries Must Be Guns You Own!**
Post your entries/pictures Submissions on this thread to be entered in the Contest.
There will be three poll threads. One for shotguns, one rifles, one for those pistols! One entry of each type will be accepted per person.
Post some info with your entry, what its scoped with, any mods done, etc. We'll accept a photo of it on your linoleum kitchen floor, but be as creative as you want with the photo.(Except NO naked women...LOL)
Submissions will run until Midnite of December 3rd .
Then I will start the poll threads. If there are more than 10 submissions of each type, I will either have to get Chris to run me a poll with more options, or we will run two separate polls of each type, Then we will have a runoff of the top guns from both polls and the gun with the most votes will be the winner! We will close the Voting Dec. 31 at Midnite...Winner will be announced January 1,2012
The Prize...Bragging rights for the next year !!!
Good luck, and thanks for participating, guys and gals!
The two most unfailing guns I could get my hands on. Both of them as rugged and long lasting as it gets!
Going to try for the images click on them to view (MUCH) larger:
Can everyone see those?
EDIT: Info as requested by Rich, and the RULES.
The rifle, Hottie, is a Norinco MAK-90 7.62x39 bought new in the box. I still have EVERY last piece that came with her, because she is still somewhat collectible, but she didn't come with a cleaning rod. I picked up a Bulgarian milsurp one though. She came with a TAPCO G2 trigger set, but I have a K-VAR 2 stage set laying around somewhere to replace it.
She's got all K-VAR USA furniture, with an added RAT-grip on the pistol grip, color matched by yours truly. You see two K-VAR Bulgarian unissued "Circle-10" magazines. I contoured the handgaurd to add the andonized aluminum Picatinny rail. It's very solid. I also replaced the front sight block with a Bulgarian unfinished blank, which had to be milled out on the inside diameter, so that I could mount a muzzle brake and bayonet.
May be the only MAK-90 in the US with a detachable bayonet.
I did the color fill a couple weeks ago with car paint. I expect it to hold up pretty well, and I REALLY like the look of it.
In the ammo box on the right, you'll notice the Glock flash-light I keep mounted on her in place of the vertical grip at home. The flashlight and bayonet were a great comfort checking a bump last night.
The 12 Gauge Mossberg 500 7+1, Cutie-Pie (which is inscribed on the bolt, with hearts), came with a pistol grip, which I replaced with a factory butt-stock I came across. She's wearing a Hunter Specialties shell sling, and a Limb-Saver slip on butt-pad. I still have the original butt-pad, but I like the squishy one. I keep her loaded with that Remington HD seen in the left ammo box. High velocity 7/8 Oz. slugs in the side sling.
Both are Frog-Lubed from stem to stern which means I shouldn't have to clean them ever again. Both guns are built and outfitted for longevity and reliability. I absolutely LOVE them.
If I named all of the accessories pictured, I'd be here all day.
