Thumbs up 4th Annual Shotgun Survival Beauty Pageant

It's that time again! Gun and Game is proud to present the 4th annual Shot Survival Beauty Pageant!

Before you go start to look at the shotgun that will get your vote, here are a few things to keep in mind:
  1. You will have 14 days, approximately two weeks to vote.
  2. Do not spam other forums with links to vote.
  3. Do not spam other's PM box to get votes.
  4. Don't register multiple times trying to stuff the ballot box.
  5. This is a friendly competition, please keep the remarks friendly.
  6. You may vote for yourself.

When judging the best survival shotgun keep a few things in mind:
1) Presentation. Was it creative?
2) Feasibility. Would you carry it in a survival situation?
3) Uses. Is it just for hunting, self defense, both?

For order in the poll, I randomly had the computer pick order. We had 8 entries. Here is the order they are listed.
7 St Andrews Fall
1 Barry Halls
3 jtuck
5 TNPIRATE
4 sandblaster87
2 Huey Rider
6 Deer Sniper
8 Deadzero

We wish you all the best of luck in the competition!

St Andrews Fall

Barry Halls

jtuck

TNPIRATE

sandblaster87

Huey Rider

Deer Sniper

Deadzero

HAHA I envy your rifle sights and bayonet lug! !

Wouldn't trade my shotty for ANYTHING, but she could use those 2 things.

I thought the heat shield was for looks. O nay nay, it will keep you from getting burned with volume of fire.

Hey Chris,

Since we aren't allowed to spam or announce, could you make an announcement in powder keg once all the voting threads are up?

We want to get more than just the participants voting

It was VERY hard to choose but I must give my vote to TNPirate. The picture of his gun shows two barrels and two different grips allowing various combinations for various situations, that put him over the top in my book. Nice work though to all who have submitted entries, perhaps by next year's competition I will have something to enter.

I've currently have plans to get this out to facebook, as well as other G&G members.

Don't worry

So far almost 20 votes....we want a continuous flow of votes, not just a one day ballot stuffing.

It is always at the end of the year before I get my new toy. I'll have to put the 930 in for next year. Gotta Go with Huey's ole war horse. That thing looks like it has already been through hell and back.

After carefull concideration I have to vote for St Andrews 590.
It has capacity, rifle sights, and bayonet lug-but the kicker was the lawn roller that'll take care of those "lunps" in the back corner of the yard.

OK, I voted! What I found is that ALL those shotguns are beauties!!!! All those guys are well respected by me and liked!

What it came down to with me was creativity of display and photography.........

I'm just glad it's a secret ballot! I am too old for a arsewhuppin!!!!!

I think this is the spirit of the contest. I'm glad to be part of such a fine bunch of contestants. Let's be honest. ANY of these lovely shotties would take very good care of you if the shtf.

So, the question the contest poses is, which one is the most beautiful?

Still not easy is it?
