But your average pinapple (frag) grenade or concussion grenade will only damage the body and there's only a very small chance that a piece of shrapnel will enter the skull. The idea behind the incendiary part is to burn them, but that's only if they're far enough away that they're toasty by the time they'd reach you.....
Nothing much worse than mob zombies... except for flaming mob zombies.

I was just wondering if this was a serious topic to anyone but me? I am only scared of one thing in this life and that's a Class 4 Zombie Outbreak. I know that the "best gun" can't really be decided simply on fire power. It is all in the users preference. I know it only takes severe brain trauma to efficiently take out a zombie, but I think a chainsaw would make soup out of the bastards. I think that a team of well armed individuals; some with melee, others with sidearms and smaller weapons for close range combat, someone with assault rifles and shot-guns for medium to long range targets and maybe a sniper. If you get into a good (secure) position with a fresh source of water high walls (pref. Brick) and a renewable food source, then your really in the clear. The only thing that could make that better is a two story house with the rest of that. That way you could chop down the stairs and use a ladder to climb into and out of your sleeping quarters....

What type of zombie are we facing here? Are they the slow, stumbling old school kind or the new generation fast movers?
Are we on the run through zombie infested cities or are we defending a static position?
Most importantly is the beer cold and the wimmenz hot?

If it comes right down to it, you want a suppressed semiauto rifle/carbine with a low power scope to take care of those out of range of a pistol. Use a semiauto with hicap mags and suppressor as backup.
A 9mm would be excellent choice for caliber. If you got a 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine and matching handgun, and you could use the same magazines, you'd be all set.

now this is the ultimate, zombies have no resistance to sugar. mount an igniter on the muzzle, and the flaming ammo will stick like napalm.

FN P90-- 50 round magazines, lightweight, short, low-recoil and carry a boat-load of magazines. Five seveN pistol. High cap magazines, ammo compatable with the rifle. One to the head and the zombie is dead. Calico .22, American 180 in semi-auto. It's all about the head shot baby! I'd rather use liberals and Democrats as bait. At least the fat chicks are good for some things. There would be less screaming with the fat chicks. A back up machete or katana would be good also. Wise use of flaming chemicals, trip wires and electricity would take down large numbers.

The ONLY weapon needed for any type of Zombie invasion is the "Supremely Viable" 10/22. If for any unforeseeable reason that any other weapon would needed you could use a .410 with slugs......

Would zombies actually go for the liberals considering they're so similar? Besides liberals would be trying to negotiate with the zombies and enroll them in various social programs.
Liberals would also make killing zombies a hate crime and pass restrictions on all the gear and tactics mentioned because zombies might find it offensive.
Come to think of it, are zombies the real threat here?

Haveing watched 3 Zombie movies on the SI FI channel recently I've decided I do not wish to deal with these mutants.
Yall do what you need to do to rid this planet of them. I will chip in a few dollars to hep buy the ammo. But that's all I'll do !
I don't want one of those nasty, worst than ugly stinking creatures near me !!!!
The last movie I watched the Zombies could run and they ran in packs !
I don't think that one person could defend them selves against a pack of Zombies that can run.
Yall have yalls fun but count me out because with haveing a Big Foot haveing it in for me.
I have enough on my plate to worry about. Good Luck...A.H

Hollywood Zombie's have really evolved from the slow walking ones like in the movie "The Night of the Living Dead". Now they can run and hunt in packs. Soon they will be chasing you down in cars and motorcycles or Helicopter Gunships...We don't have a chance..
