I think he's going to get someone hurt. He does things that no person should ever do in a survival situation. Rule number one, never do anything to make your situation worse than it already is.

he got busted for staying in hotels and resorts and fakeing some of his stunts! the true survivor is

Survivor Man Les Stroud !!!!!

they are tv shows where the have to live in extreme conditions with no food are water for 7 days !

the differnce between the 2 , Bear Grylls has a full 5 man camra crew <and sucks>

Les Stroud goes by himself with 180 lbs of camera equipment and lugs it all in and out! by his damn self!

but Les is really environmental friendly and he does stupid stuff to, he ate a fish that was 4-5 days old, now when a newcomer does the same thing and gets food poisoning.

Les Stroud is the man. I remember that episode where he ate the fish. I do believe he cooked it. Is that the one where he found it on a rock where an eagle caught it and ate part of it?

and as I remember Bear drank is own piss straight from the wee-wee while Les Stroud made a still to evaporate the moisture then drank the condensation

I agree with the above about Bear what's his name. He is pretty stupid in my mind and I have no training in survival. He seems to go around the woods like he is yelling "Mommy lookit!"

Les, did eat a fish that had been there a while. But, keep in mind it was ice box cold out. Plus, if it is either take the chance or die what would the decision be?

I like watching Les. Bear Grylls is a waste of film and equipment.

Have to agree that Bear is an idiot. Les provides good information and if nothing else tries to show you different ways to start a fire. Just about each show he tries a different technique. Also when Les does something stupid, like eating a mushroom, he clearly tells people not to do this. I'll take Les over Bear any day.

I think it was hilarious when he got busted staying in posh hotels/motels/resorts when he was supposedly staying in harsh climates, "SURVIVING". Crack me up. The other guy, Les Stroud is better at teaching the stuff.

Les shows what to do to LIVE.
Bear shows what to do to get ratings.

Nuff said.

I used to watch Man vs. Wild, now I prefer Survivorman, Les beats the pants off of Bear Grylls.

I really don't like Bear Grylls...I think it's a big act.

Les Stroud on the otherhand, he's a real survivor.
