No kids, so i keep my magazine loaded on my 9mm xd. Partially loaded anyhow. When me and my fiancee were picking out a bedroom suite we found a really nice set and the night stand has a hidden slide out top drawer. Nobody would find it if they didn't know what to look for.

I have one revolver thats always loaded but secured all my other firearms are unloaded and secured. I have heard both sides of this arguement, weakened magazine springs? extened periods of time with that tentsion on the springs??????

Magazines are loaded, depending on the firearm. Handguns are loaded at all times, most rifles have one magazine at the ready. I suppose it helps not having kids yet... Bug out bag is a different story all together ... |

My ready access weapons are fully loaded, but secure in quick access lock boxes. The exception is the Glock 23 on my hip...it's ready right now. In my safe with the rest, I have loaded magazines, speedloaders, or ready ammo for each weapon. If you are worried about spring fatigue, load 25 rounds in those 30 Round magazines. |
