Best Survival Movie Yet???

Just saw a commercial for "Zombie Land." For all you die hard zombie survivalists out there, heads up! This movie might just give you the skills needed to use your Ruger 10/22 (the ultimate supremely viable rifle) against the horde of zombies that are to come!!!

Sony Pictures - Zombieland

I hope your an exceptionally good shot and have no problems scoring precise brain box headshots with your .22lr on the move because those zombies in Zombieland run full out.

Yeah I saw the previews - I'm not sure I believe it. I think Hollywood has embellished some things quite a lot. Real Zombies are not that fast. And it does not look to me that the movie Zombies have as acute a sense of smell as real Zombies.

How do we know how fast zombies are? I've never encountered one, have you?

just to prevent an accidental shooting of a human mis-identified as a zombie, Here is what you gotta keep a watch out for. I thought my shop had been invaded by a couple of nasty zombies a few weeks back - was just about to gun up and go into lock down when I realized it was just Moose and Swede

lol i own two copies, and while entertaining, max brooks doesnt know anything about firearms.

And I have to agree, no one has ever seen a zombie so who know how fast they can or cannot be.

If you can get your mind around the fact that your facing off a reanimated corpse that wants to eat you i dont think its that much more of a stretch to believe that they could run too. Especially the freshly turned ones who havnt rotted out yet.

all the time! golden gate national cemetary is right by my house. gotta deal with the pesky buggers all the time. the ones that come up from the ground are easy, we let the chihuahua take care of them. she chews on the bones for a couple weeks.
the ones to watch out for are the fresh, newly risen ones. till rigormortis sets in, they're as fast dead as they were alive. .22's are fun on the rotten ones, but i like something with alot more punch to keep the fresh ones fom getting thier hands on my brains.

^ I'm telling ya!! I hate those newly dead buggars. Gotta go shotgun on them, especially when they run a serpentine (zig zag) pattern!!!

The best movie about survival I ever saw, I don't even know the name of.

It was about a boy who got lost on the ocean and wound up in the wilderness and had to survive with just his dog and a boy scout knife.

Very, very good and realistic.
