Well, I do like my Taurus Judge, it is very versatile and can be very deadly. But I really would want more than the five rounds of what ever I feed it, and it is not the fastest in reloading. I again would have to go with one of the AR type pistols (over sized hand gun). I like my Keltec PLR 16 with variable power scope and a 90 round drum clip to go with my standard 30 rd clips. Plenty to go around for a whole gaggle of Zombies. One shot, one brain stem, one less Zombie!! Here Zombie Zombie come get your lead sleeping pill!!

I'd probably take a Ruger Blackhawk in .45colt. I think the +P loads in .45 are too much, but something in between the +P and the cowboy load would be really nice. Plus, you always know that the gun is going to shoot, as long as the ammo is good.

Everyone knows that you can't use hanguns on Zombies...you need something like this: YouTube - biggest gun ever

Since my Zombie Survival manual recommends an M1 Carbine. How's about this beauty???

You know zombie or sheeple, whatever your protecting yourself from, is a 9mm with a GOOD bullet(no ball bs) like a good hollow point or hydrashok, gold saber etc. Not sufficient? I mean the bullet is traveling at a good fps and you can put more down range cause of the price. I know you have your camps and most lean toward 45 just cause of the sheer brute strength but what do you like about a nice 9mm with golden sabers for breaking a brain stem?

its good to see a rational discussion about this pressing matter.
one thing i have to say about a 9mm with the appropriate bullet is that it is lighter than the .45acp (which would be my choice) so you could carry more of them.
because when not if this happens we are going to need a LOT of ammo!

i agree no matter what I'm packin i want alot of bullets I was looking for a new handgun. Glock has a special zombie killer edition 17 9mm comes stock with a 15 round mag but you can get a 33 rounder i think if that isnt perfect for when the un dead return i dunno what is.

Para makes a double stack .45 1911, bout if there aren't a lot of them what about a Contender with a .223 and pistol grip? It would get the job done. It does a number on rabbits!!!

I looked at a springfield XD9 and 40. All I can say is wow, they got a 9mm in black and stainless holds sixteen, but I'm digging the forty if they can get it for me in green or stainless, she will be mine, oh yes she will be mine.

Axe or Etool with a finely honed edge on one side. They're gonna get close enough for hand to hand. Don't you watch the movies??

Close enough for hand to hand is close enough for 13 rounds of .40 cal which is what I'll be packing.

Anyone else rather fight zombies than politicians?

You can get the aftermarket Schearer mags in .40S&W that carry 31 rounds.

Now, the 31 and 33 of .40 and 9mm are with the +2 mag bottom; with a normal bottom they're 29 and 31, respectively.

They go for around $50, but I can get two 15 round G22 mags for $20-35. Might as well just buy those and carry twice as many rounds with easier concealability, maneuverability and transport.

My buddy has an Ar pistol, with laser, surefire light, Halo sight, and a Bata Mag. so carry a few extra mags, and a glock 17/19 with 17rd mags, and you shoud be good to go. 90+ rounds of 223, because as you know Zombies come in waves, I would use ONLY FWJ, because of teh great penetration, you would be hitting 2-3 with every shot!
