| Zodi X-40 for camping and emergency hot water needs? Anyone out there in G&G world have experience using the Zodi X-40 for your camping or emergency hot water needs? We're looking into adding one to our preparedness items and would appreciate some feedback from G&G members who've used one...

Too gimicky! We (me, wife kids) have taken many a sponge bath just heating water on an open fire. For a simple convienience here is a decent item that cost less and is more reliable. It's not necessary just to use solar. We often fillit 1/2 with cold water and pour enough hot water off the fire to get it the right temp. it goes a long way. eBay Motors: 2-1/2 GALLON MARINE RV CAMPING SOLAR SHOWER BAGS 40072 (item 380018929566 end time Apr-24-08 18 18 PDT) | |

| I have those solar showers, be careful they get very hot. I learned my lesson the first time I used one. |

| Sportsmans Guide has a much better deal on a portable propane shower! I just bought one of the Propane / Battery fired units delivered for less than 150 bucks ! They are in use all over China I found out...Mine is an Eccotemp L5 for LPG, and uses "D" batteries for the Ignitor...Great for an On Demand heater... Rich
