Along with the usual auto care supplies, I carry my .45, 12ga, .30-30 (or SKS depending on my mood), I also periodicly carry two cases of clay pigeons and my launcher, hey even if SHTF you're gonna need some kind of entertainment.............

I am working up a load of survival gear for my ATV. I got a real nice big bag from Sportsmans Guide that will hold a lot of stuff. So far things like TP, bottled water, jacket, tool kit, matches, machette, .38 spl snubby and ammo. Now to work up some food items.

For all you guys carrying handguns in your vehicle.... is that in addition to the CCW gun your already carrying? And if not why not just keep the handgun and a reload on your person where you have instant access to it if needed and if you want additional mags for it keep those in the car bag?

Home Made Survival Kit for your Car Might help some? The site is overall very funny and very intelligent. I suggest reading the whole of the site. Especially the A-hole Files.

I normally open carry around here on the weekends and CCW during the week to and from work plus I a 12ga nearby. I just have an inexpensive .38 snubby to stuff in the bag. Ya never know.
