I'd like to try a scout mount from S&K on my 1911. Anyone have any experience with them?

I've had good luck with the S&K mount on my K98. Don't know about the Swiss 1911 though. If you do get one I suggest you keep that as your hunting gun, the recoil of the round will start to shake the screws loose afteer about 50 rounds. You could always use lock-tight, but it does hold zero quite well. I got mine sighted for 75 yds, I need to sight it for 100 now
