Post your Swiss Rifle pics here!

I guess this could be like a roll call thread. Post your Swiss Rifle, or I suppose any other Swiss small arms here. Heres my K31!

Have you guys ever tried to get in touch with the previous owner of the gun(the one on the tag)?I've read on the Swiss rifle gun sites that some people have, and one guy even got the original bayonet sent to him.I haven't had the time to do it with mine,Building a new house and taking care of a nine month old little daughter takes up a lot of time.I hope to at least find the correct bayonet for it sometime, any suggestions as to where to look?

My k31 has a troop tag but he was born in 1930. So he probably is dead. BTW how do I post a pic on here?

You can either post links with a free photo database, like photobucket, by using the image code as me and gunz did, or else choose to post attachments like jmeck did. There should be a tab to click on if you choose to "go advanced" and "manage attachments" and then pick them off your computer, and they will post as jmeck's did.

Where did you get that bayo? How much you pay for one of those? Whats a good ballpark for cash you'd have to fork out to get one?

I picked it up a few years back-around 35.00 at the time w/frog and leather holder.. You see them on e-bay time to time-here in the midwest not much @ gun shows .I'm guessing 50-75 now a days--the older ones [saw back] go over a 100.00 bill for the K-11,96/11

The camera I use is a old olympus camedia c-2100 ultra zoom, it's only 2.1 mp so the far away images are a bit fuzzy, but it takes great close ups.

Oh and I have shot it, just only shot 40 rounds. I'll shoot it more when I go ammo shopping.

Wow guys... beautiful rifles. I'm most certainly going to look for a swiss K31 in good condition after I buy another nagant, and an enfield.

Here is another I picked up today at a gun show. $125. 1954 Swiss K31, with troop tag.

Loading is not a problem, I don't use stripper-clips and the mag is removable. ( holds 6 rounds )
Gotchas, well there is one, not the mounts fault its the way K31's eject.
It will throw the shell at the bottom of the scope sometimes. This can nick the paint and put a dent in the mouth of the case. I'm getting into reloading and didn't want my cases beat up so I cut a piece of a black plastic oil container and zipped-tied it under the scope. This solved the problem. I guees you could open the bolt real slow and pick out the case if you wanted to. The scope being off center is not a problem and it doesn't
shoot off center when I swiched from 100 yards to 200 yards. All in all I'm
very happy with my St Maries scope mount. Heres a couple of pics.
