yeah iron colonel I got too impatient waiting for that website page to load so I found another one, although it's in another language it has the pictures of the bayonet mounted.

Wouldn't mind having one of those rifles in semi auto....

So I just got this bayonet and am cleaning it up. I will post a pic later but how can I get a date of manufacture on them? I know it is a 1918 pioneer but were they only made in 1918 or made until the next version came out. And does the number stamped on it have any significance?

Any idea where I migh find a scabbard for this bayonet? Or maybe have one made? I suppose I could make a leather one that would work.

Well I made my own frog for the bayonet I bought similar to what was original. I guess I based the pattern off of it. But it already had a scabbard, so if yours doesn't have a scabbard, then it might be a bit more difficult.

Some of the older ones had leather scabbards. But they also had metal parts on the top and bottom. Hmm, maybe if I could find one to cast a mold from.
