| Possible K-31 buys
Ok well I usually keep a close eye on the locate Dunhams sporting goods store because they sometimes have some good deals. Recently I saw they have what looks like a K-31 and my question being how well do these shoot. Im not interested in it being a Tac driver but if its fairly accurate that would be nice and how hard is it to mount a scope?. Also the price was roughly 140 dollars.

| Make sure they are not mis marking their Styr's as K31s. That is about the price for a Styr Straight bolt rifle. GREAT deal on a K31!

Yea, good point Tex. The K31s are excellent straight pull carbines. Look for the Swiss cross and shield on the receiver. So long as it shoots 7.5 x 55 Swiss, it ought to be a K31

I haven't had any issue with the one in Wilmar I bought my WASR-10(before the price increase) and my 8mm Yugo there. I haven't been to the one in St.Cloud but the one main gun guy at Dunhams in Wilmar seems to know his stuff.

That's an unbelievable bargain on a K31! My dealer paid about $180 for the last K31s he got in. Swiss ammo for $6.00 is very good if it's GP11. It's been almost impossible to find until recently. Sportsmans Guide had it for about $32 for a brick of 60.

Was the ammo $6? It is $9.99 for 10 rounds at the Dunham's in Traverse City, MI. We have been out of K31 rifles here since the beginning of last year. I've been trying to transfer in some since then-where did you say that one is again.

Try Allan's armory he doesn't have any right now but seems to get them in regularly. Shipping was only $20 in a hard plastic case + transfer cost and $10 background check. http://www.allans-armory.com/aa.php |
