Question Taurus Model 455.....

in .45 ACP, has anybody fired one? I saw one yesterday at the local gun shop and it caught my eye. Has anybody heard anything about this model, good or bad?

I've seen comments from several who were quite pleased. I have a T-445 (.44 S&W spl instead of .45 ACP) which is fairly similar and like it very well though I must admit that after ~25 rounds it goes back in my shooting bag. The star clips on the T-455 apparently work fine. 45 ACP will give you more ammo choices than .44 spl. This didn't bother me as I roll my own. I do not believe I would want such a gun in a titanium frame unless I wanted a light weight carry gun that would see only occasional use.

I have a 6" barrel version and love it. Beautiful finish, great grips, good sights. Trigger broke in nicely. Accuracy is just plain awesome!
