Logansdad, what's that 9 shot...a model 94? If so, what do you think about it? I've looked at them for years, thought it would be good for my teenage girls to shoot, but the hammer always seemed too stiff for them to cock.

:target: actually Guffster it is far more accurate than I would have expected from Taurus..I typically shoot all my sidearms at 25 yards and I just would never have expected that kind of accuracy from a kitgun :target:

I used to own a 85CH but like an idiot sold it when money was short. Luckily santa brought me a 905SS this year. Great little gun!

I pack a 617 7 shot 2in polished stainless bobbed hammer ported .357mag I put ribber grips on it to accomodate my huge hands. I also have a pt92 that I have purtified with way expensive fancy grips tritum sights and a gold trigger. I have generally had good luck with taurus I had a mod85multi Titanium 38spl that would not function properly it would fail to rotate the cylinder. I sent it back to taurus twice and they could not or would not fix that pistol, So I sold it. I was not happy about that. I have has such good luck with other taurus guns so I know it was just that example and not a general problem I am looking forward to their new cowboy guns comeing up.

I had a 617, pretty much like Dennis' gun, except without the ports. I had some cylinder-binding problems with it and sent it into the shop. Then I sent it in again when I had some ignition failures (light strikes with the firing pin). When it came back, it still failed to ignite primers. When it came back the last time, it seemed to be working OK. By then I had some other guns that just seemed to fit my needs better, so I sold it (5-shot snubbies are easier to conceal than 7-shooters). The overall workmanship on my 617 was a good deal at the price. Even though I parted company with that 617, I still have Taurus in mind for some future guns. The Model 94 9-shot .22 LR will probably be first up. Lots of plinking fun and a pretty good vehicle for training young shooters.

Pt 92AF,(never any problems) PT945 (a problem feeding with this one, but they fixed it, and it has been fine since then) and the 5 shot snub nose in 45LC,(the gun Smith and Colt should have made) Large holes are better than small ones.

I have a PT-100. Other than trading out the wood grips for Hogue rubber ones haven't had to do a thing to it. Paid $260 out the door with a hoslster & 2 mags. Very fun to shoot. Haven't had any trouble with it.
