| 44 Special Revolver
Any comments on the Taurus Model 445, snubnosed, titanium, ported, 44 special, 5 shot revolver? Good or bad? Mine is light and very accurate at 25 yards....has a surprisingly low recoil for a large caliber. I like it. What do you think of yours? Seems to me that Taurus has greatly improved in quality. Well...at least in this model anyway. |

Hi Joe I have a 445 stainless and love it. A gun shop in KY was selling them out and I couldn't believe the price. A friend bought one a week later and he bought the ported blue titanium. His revolver is a handfull when fired. I keep saying the Taurus guarantee is awfully impressive, and the pistols are underrated. The 44 Spl is an amazingly accurate cartridge. I can't wait to try handloads. I like to shoot the specials in my 44 mag. I call the 445 my fishing gun. I have a padded spot in my tackle box. Indy |
