Welcome FloridaShark
Well personally I don't own either. But I have checked out both and they both have an awesome feel. However I would take the 24/7 in a 40 or 45. Thats just me though.
I looked over the 24/7 extensively, because I was also wanting a pistol of this sort. I absolutly love the way the 24/7 feels. I personlly have never felt a more comfortable pistol.
I have yet to shoot one though, so take my that for whatever it's worth.

I'd say the same, with a leaning towards the 45.

I think they're coming out in 38 Super too.

Hey brother, i work as an armed guard. Presently we carry the old police S&W .38 caliber, 4-inch revolvers in models 10 and 64. But we will be going to semi-auto. Unfortunately we will going with the S&W .40 caliber M&P. The Taurus PT 24/7 in either .40 or 9mm is a far superior gun!

Hey Taurus,I am an armed guard also.I own a M&P 40,nice gun, simple, reliable, easy to take apart and clean. Trust me you will like it!

The 9s cheaper to shoot but you wll have to find a good sd round, its hard to find a bad load for the 40.

Hi guys,

I'm seriously looking into buying a 24/7 in either 9mm or .40 (9mm is leading right now due to finances). I would like to know if anyone has tried to carry this gun concealed. If I can just get a positive review on it's conceal ability, I'll be 100% sold even though I've never been able to fire one. I've read tons of reviews, and the vast majority are very positive. I've also held one and examined it, and I LOVE the way it feels. I just think it may be a tad too big to carry...but if I can find out if it's not too bad to carry from someone who's done it..I'll go ahead and get it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
