taurus 24/7 .45ss should I buy it?

My girlfriends father wants to sell me his taurus 24/7 .45 ss for $300.00. What do you guys think? Good buy?

Ask why he's selling and check Taurus for warranty details. If it's still under warranty then definitely go for it. If not, might want to try shooting it first.

I personally love the 24/7. Fits like a glove in the hand, and has good sight acquisition. It's also won several awards sense it was released.

Check it over for any mechanical problems and take it out and shoot it. Assuming all is well, $300 is a fair price.

Do share your experiences with it! Both a friend and I would like to have a longslide version in 40 S&W, and a laser would most likely be on the agenda to add.

The sights seem more tactical than your average pistol. One !!!! of a kick! Cant wait for my laser sights to come in. By the way field stripping is easy but reassembly is a pain in the arse.
