Question shot shell bullets

i own a pt-99 af , 1989. and was wondering if anyone had a problem with messing up the barrel shotting shot shells..my bud just got em for his forty cal. glock and am thinking about getting them...i shoot out of my revolver with no prob...but what about a semi=auto?

They probably will not cycle a semi-auto, but a manually operated arm like a revolver would be no problem. I'm not aware of any safety issues or damage to a gun from shotshells.
