The 45 colt is according to Marshall a 79% stopper a 38sp+p is a 83 % stopper
so about the same[we are talking people here not animals] I am not calling it useless and yes it does have more energy, but being chambered in old single action guns the self defence load developement isn't there, if a ammo maker works with it i'm sure it would be quite the stopper but there is no need right now. So many other good loads out there for other calibers in better guns than the judge, and that is the only sd gun really chambered for the 45colt.

Well, all I can go by is my experience. My PT92 (purchased in 1985) never, ever jammed on me, with any factory round or handload I put through it, and my PT911 appears to be just as reliable so far. Can't say the same for the 4 Colt Government Models I owned over the years, or any other auto I've had.

I am glad to hear that , but you can't let the other issues cloud your judgment . Some people have had problems with them , and i know you will say well some people have had problems with all brands and i agree so we agree to disagree and agree ! lol

Taurus International Manufacturing Inc

Crowds gather when I pull it out at the range to ooh and ahhh over it, women throw themselves at me, and traffic lights turn green at my approach ever since I bought it.
