| Snubnose 9mm My basic carry piece is a Taurus 905 snubnose 9mm, like this one: Taurus International Manufacturing Inc They stopped making it a while back. I carry it in my pocket with a Mika holster. It's a little heavier than my wife's S&W 642 that I sometimes carry, but it's a smaller revolver, so I'll trade off some bulk for some weight. I stoke it with JHP +Ps of whatever's on sale, currently hydrashocks, kept in a moonclip. If I'm going to be out for a while or going into town, I'll take an extra moonclip. I practice with it weekly, running through a cylinder of my carry ammo and a few of target stuff like Wally World Winchesters. If I'm alone at the range, I'll do a little moving, either way, I "zipper" with it, something I learned at the Integrated Close Combat Forum. It's not a bad shooter, like all my guns, it's a lot better than me. DAO, I can keep it on a pie plate at thirty feet. Eight feet I can easily hit the X ring. This is my only Taurus, ever, and it's been good to me. Last edited by DrBoomBoom; 09-01-2007 at 08:12 AM. |

| Tauras is a good gun, that is a good model, 9mm is a good round big enough for concealed carry, and the ammo is not as badly priced as the larger calibers, or even 38spl. |

| Well it's a lot better for CCW than an 8+inch Raging Bull .454 Casull! ![]() |

| I like that and I am not a fan of revolers. That one is way cool though. I may have to get one
