I loaded one set of Copper plated bullets too hot. Fortunately it was only a box of fifty. No more copper plate bullets though. Finish up what I have with lighter loads, then Sierra or Hornady jacketed bullets only.

But still use hardcast lead for the 45 Colts I fire through this bad boy.

35 bucks.

i am getting used to it .
i fired 20 rnds. sat. and it didnt bother me a bit.

Don't we all need more brass? You got any favorite reload recipes yet? I am trying out some Ramshot Enforcer powder, but I haven't been to the range with them yet.

31 gr. imr 4227
i am not developing loads.
i am just following the book.
this accuracy is fine.
i am not changing powders/bullets nothin.
i am getting burned out on trying dozens of loads with my .308
as soon as i find one thats really good i am never experimenting again.

1 load for each of my guns and i am done!

I try to do that, then I see a powder on sale I never used before, and BINGO, new load development time.

Do they make a wheel kit for this cannon where you can pull it behind your truck ?

Come on dude. I used to tote a Ruger Superblackhawk 10" 44 mag in a shoulder harness while deerhunting....just in case.

i get tired of devoting hours making loads that arent very good for a particular firearm.
once i get a really good one.
i am done.
i will never screw with it again.
maybe when i am retired and have absolutely nothing else to do but....

reloading is to save money.
accuracy is a really great perk.

i put 60 rnds. through it yesterday.
i used the chronograph.
1000fps for my 45 l.c. loads with 250gr.hornady xtp
1500 fps for the 300 gr. 454casull

i am going to scope this this week.
it can shoot much more accurately than my eyes with the iron sights are capable of.

i dont know if it came from the compensator or what.

Had a .44mag revolver once that was bad for shaving the sides off bullets between the chamber and the barrel. it would send junk all over the place and it hurt! turned out the timing was off or something with the cylindar I did not what to pay to get it fixed so I traded it in for another gun. (yes I told the guy what was wrong with it, he said he could fix it.)

My Super Blackhawk .44 mag did that once. I was at the range shooting at paper, was doing well then had a crazy a$$ flyer. I looked at the pistol in wonder and noticed a piece of jacket on the bench top. Shipped to Ruger asap. They had to replace the pawl in it, they refinished it also and sent it back pronto, all free of charge.
