I had some cheap copper plated bullets that did that. I would guess the jacket was separating at the cylinder gap. Don't use them any more. Only use quality bullets for this bad boy now. | |

yesterday at the range there were a bunch of cops there. i let the ones that wanted to shoot the 454. they were giggling and carrying on like kids! bigbores bring out the little boy in all of us!

I'm using Sierra 300 grainers now. No more copper plate for me. I'll have to redo all them copper plated bullets and make wienie loads out of them.
