Hey cyclops I held one at the store the other week. It had a good fit/feel for my hand. It seemed to be top heavy as would be the case since the lower is all plastic. I am not that big of a fan of the polymers. This is a personal thing for me kinda like a fake feel when I hold it. I don't really know how to explain it. But I don't think you can go wrong at that price or with the warranty.

KRAP!! Pure KRAP!! I HAD a PT-145. After only 600 rounds of standard velocity 230gr S&B hardball, the frame cracked!! My FFL had 7 of them come into the shop. 5, including mine came back with the exact same cracks!! The problem is widespread. Go to www.thefiringline.com and do a search on "PT-145" and get an eyeful!! There are pictures too!!!

BTW, the shop sent it back to Taurus and I got rid of it as soon as it got back!!
