Is anyone familiar with these pisols. Guy has the one pictured for sale locally for 225 with the holster. "asking price" Said it had some light surface rust but i can't see anything bad from the pictures. Looks pretty nice to me. So all who have one what are your opinions of the pistol. ![]() ![]() |

It's a very good looking pistol, but if what OkieHenry said is correct then it's not a great deal. Since it's stainless I can't help but wonder what kind of care has it had since you say it had rust on it. Just my 2 cents...A.H |

Its probably worth a look in person. I have several Taurus revolvers and I love them. Concerning the rust on a stainless steel gun, it may not necessarily indicate bad care from the previous owner. I have several stainless guns and I take excellent care of them. But, I have found some very minor surface rust once on one of my stainless guns that I cannot figure out how it rusted. But, a quick rub with an oiled cloth and the rust was gone and I've never had a problem again. You just have to evaluate it in person and see what you think. If it is simply very minor surface rust that would just wipe off, then you might use that to bargain the price down if you think the gun is worth buying... ClayMan |
