| 44Mag value?
Hey guys I got a chance to get a Taurus 44 Mag. It's chrome (the guys says it stainless steel) but it looks chrome to me. With Scope rings and 100Rds for $400 is that a good deal? I am not familier with Taurus. It's in very nice shape that the Trigger has been worked on cause it feels really nice. Any thoughts? Thanks, Eric

Sounds pretty good to me, Eric. It's stainless steel, as Taurus hasn't used chrome in years. Let us know if you get it or not.

Polished stainless more likely. I have a Taurus mdl 85 snub that looks chrome but is polished stainless, very well done!

I got it! It's in real nice shape. It's got a 4x30 tasco scope on it that seems to be a higher qaulity unit. It's got 1/4" adjustments. It's the Model 44 and I am going to be quite happy with. Need to stop by the range tonight! Eric

Joe, play nice!! Congrats on your new toy, Eric. You should have a great time with it. If you DO go to Toledo, make Joe buy the ammo!!
