Anyone shot the Taurus 24/7 in 9mm???

What did you think? How did it feed and how did it feel? Thanks!

24-7

lorcin25: Sir; my shooting partner had one. I shoot Single Actions, Glock and SW. My first thought. Don't buy the 24-7. He was dead set because of the price and how it looked. HE bought it
We drove about 1.5hrs east, picked the 24-7 up drove N 1hr. to an outdoor shooting range. I didn't bring anything supposedly.
He bought a Marlin lever .357 the same day and I wanted him to enjoy his moment. All by ourselves. Out of the box the 24-7 was fun functioned flawlessly, smooth, accuracy for HIM wasn't up to snuff.

I shot it approximately 100rds. My findings meet all the above with exception. The firearm is fairly accurate. I since have enjoyed shooting it many times. Between the two of us we probably shot 1000rds; not any problems.

Since then he traded for an XD. Not because 24-7 had problems; you just have to know him
Hope this helps.

I got my 24/7 a few months ago. I've put about 800 rounds through it and have not had any problems. It goes bang every time I pull the trigger. Liked it so much I bought another Taurus, a PT 1911, no problems with this one either. I carry one or the other everyday so I stake my life on them.

I purchased a .40S&W Taurus 24/7 PRO. I have been dissappointed. I really don't think Taurus intended for anyone to remove the slide from a 24/7 for cleaning. The slide does not come off easily and metal wear on the frame after 600 rounds is not good. It seems most people like the 24/7. I have two Glocks which can be dissassembled so easily; The Glocks have thousands of rounds fired through them and there is no noticeable metal fatique anyplace on them. I have two sons; both have Taurus's and love them. For me, I have had a bad experience with Taurus.
