Just spent some time at the great indoor facility Caswells in Mesa, AZ. I brought a mag of Federal Hydra-Shok hollow points, just to see how well they group, and cheap Winchester ball from yes......Wamart..... about 115 rounds all together, the gun has been fired before. About 50 rounds when I bought it less than a month ago. This gun did not disappoint me one bit. From 20 feet the groupings are good. About 7 inch diameter, I wasnt taking my time either. Hey im a newbie to pistol shooting. I thought it wasnt to bad haha. Function was flawless, except one round that I suppose misfired, BUT, the taurus went back to dual action and the round fired with a pull of the trigger. I love the SA/DA trigger. I'm getting used to the Heinie sights. I didnt know it before but, the gun has a auto-reload, slap a mag in with a little umph and the slide will come forward, this is not a defect, scared the crap outta me when I did it the other day. Should come in handy if the situation arises, which I hope never does. Very happy and impressed with my Taurus. Went home and cleaned it, cant wait till next time. Happy shooting!!

Sounds like you had a good time. I have a little PT140 that i really like. Had it for a year now and it has never given me any problems at all and for a compact with only a 3 inch barrel it is quite good at 15 yards and passable at 25 yards.
