Anyone own a 9MM Millenium? Any feedback? My main concern is than most of the lower dollar autos I have fired have a very long and very heavy trigger pull. The S&W Sigma's trigger pull is about a mile long before the bang and very heavy. Hi-Point feels more like it was made to crack walnuts when you pull the trigger. I really like everything I see, read and hear about The Millenium as a practice gun and maybe carry under summer clothes but haven't heard anything about the trigger pull. Anyone own one who can give some input?

I had a 40 S&W Millenium and it had a very long and hard trigger. I didnt like it at all. Not sure if the 9mm would be any better. I ended up trading it for a Kel-Tek.

I have the Millenium Pro and I love it!! It was my first pistol, and I have not had an ounce of trouble with it... It comes highly recommended from me! |

Only issue for me was that carry was too bulky. Looking at PT709 SLIM to see if that will work better for me. Love shooting the Mil Pro series; even the PT145 in that package is fun to shoot.

| Senior Member | Been looking at the Slim myself. The only thing I can't find in the specs is width. How slim is the Slim?

Depends on which Millennium Pro you get. The 2nd generation Pro ( 'Millennium Pro' is on left side of slide ) is a DAO. Harder pull. The 3rd generation ( 'Millennium' on left side, '111 PRO' on right side ) is a SA. Still has a long pull, but no real pressure until the end of the pull. You'd need to shoot both to feel the difference. I had a PT745 Pro that was a 2nd generation. Didn't mind the pull. I actually liked it better than my 3rd gen. PT145 , which was SA.

The thickness is just under one inch. No exact number given. None of my suppliers has one to sell as yet or I would already own it.

| Senior Member | I saw that same article. Found it odd that they would review a gun called "The Slim" and not give the width.

LOL Yes, I know what you mean. Even if it were 1" wide it would be fine I think. Since they say it is a bit under 1" wide I am not too concerned anymore. One of my suppliers is checking availability today so maybe I'll have some sort of shipping date soon. I anticipate paying $300 to $325 for mine. The MSRP is $375.
