| taurus pt92 afs wear ouestion
I have purchased a used pt92 afs in very good condition. Since purchasing the gun, I have taken it to the range a number of times and shot 300 rounds through it. after each trip to the range I field strip and clean the gun. The last time I cleaned the gun i noticed a small wear spot on the slide just in front on the locking block the wear is on both sides of the slide anmd is cuased by the motion of the locking block when the slide moves backward. I am new to autoloaders and would like to know if wear in this location is normal. I always insure that the weapon is oiled.

Well by the process of elimination, it appears that wear in this region is normal for this gun. I have continued to fire the weapon with no significant increase in the wear that is apparent. I think I may have poorly described the wear I was concerned with but thank you all for reading the post. I have gained a lot of knowledge in the short time I have been a member of this site.
