Taurus 945

I ordered a Taurus 945, stainless steel, gold accents and Mother of Pearl grips. The Taurus website says the guns are available but it`s been over a month and still haven`t been able to get one from my dealer. Anyone know what the hold up could be? Thanks in advance.

Could be the gunshop and whatever distributor they order from, I had one say they were back ordered and couldn't be had, I went to another and they got it in one week with no problem. I got the PT 911, same gun in 9mm. They come with two sets of grips, by the way, the pearl and a second set of thinner, grooved black rubber that are better for serious shooting. Good luck, you'll love it when it comes. Friend of mine turned his nose up at it and said it looked like something a two dollar hooker would carry, but I don't care, it's the prettiest gun I've ever seen. It looks a bit less frivolous with the black grips, and black/gold/silver is an attractive combination too. I keep the pearl grips on at home for when I run around the house and pretend to be James Bond. Drives my wife nuts.
