Holster question...

Salutations everyone. Im currently in the market for a holster and wanted some help. I currently have a Taurus PT140. When i initially started my search i was mainly looking at belt holsters. As of lately, i have turned my interest to the inside waistband versions. Does anyone have experience with both the waistband and belt holsters? Can you provide your opinions as far as the pros and cons of each so that im making the right choice? Currently i have my eyes on a Bianchi 100 Professional (pictured below), but im not sure how snug the gun will be in the holster if i have to bend down to pick up something etc etc. Thanks in advance for anyones help.

I use an inside the waist band for concealed carry, seems to conceal better for me, closer to the body. I use a cheap one ( galico) that holds the gun just fine. The holster you are looking at should be just fine. Just tighten your belt a little more and it ill be snug.
I wish I would have spent more and bought one that had the cant built into the belt clip.

I would think, you would just about need to stand on your head for the firearm to fall out, most quality holsters hold very well.

When general range time shooting I use a Bianchi, it does have a retention latch on the trigger guard. Easy to release very nice holster,, but it doesn't conceal quite as well? With a coat it is not to bad?

Try several holsters, the main thing I have noticed, get one that is for your specific handgun. It will be more secure and wear less on the finish.
Try them on with your gun in them if you can, if it pokes you and does not feel right,,, then it probably isn't right for you??

I live in a No Open Carry state so I use a IWB holster. A carry in the small of my back and love it. After a while you don't even notice it. My main carry gun is a Springfield XD Subcompact and when I was looking for an IWB I was told to get one for the PT 145. I had a hard time finding one for the XD Subcompact and I was told the Millennium is about the exact size.

Hey Gary, does it bother you when you sit down? What model holster is it? Do you have to take it off to drive or anything. I always thought the ones you wear by your back would be a bit of a nuisance, say it aint so.

Thanks for the info. The manufacturer said that (the one in the picture) can fit mine. I was having a hard time finding others that specifically fit the model i have. I really want that one because it looks simple and easy to hide, just didnt want to have to kneel down to do something (at the grocery store, gas station etc etc) and flop comes out my piece ya know.

I have this one:

ZAA-932 - Ace Case Leather Holster Right Handed Small Glocks Inside the Pants with Metal Clip Models 19 23 26 27

Cheaper Than Dirt says it is for Glock but it fits the XD Subcompact and Millennium perfect. It doesn't feel odd at all. Often times I will forget I even have it on. Very soft leather. I am very happy with it.
