It really is one of my fav's. Definitely has a carbine feel. Acurracy not so good though. Oh well it's a brush gun limited to 75 yds.

Maybe you should try a scout mount for it.
I've heard they work better on mini 14's.

Actually, he doesn't usually have his ranch rifle set up like this; temptation just overcame him a couple of weeks ago.
