Ammo in Houston? anywhere?

Any luck with decent range ammo? My WM's are all out of stock.

Houston Ammo

I have only lived here a few months but have had no luck short of my father-in-law getting some at a gun show in Mesquite a few weeks ago (reloads) and pricey...as I have been told. 50 .380 loads for $27. Just got the Ruger LCP and it was easier to buy the gun than the ammo was to find. I'm in N. Houston and checking Wal-Mart a few days a week, not enough time to check other places. Lemme know if you find a hot spot...like it will last. Maybe shows are the place to go!

Good luck! I can't find any anywhere. I might have to quit going to the range because I'm almost out. I know the gun shops did really good at first when the Obama scare sarted, but I bet they are going to be hurting before the year is over. I go to a indoor range at the local gun store and I'm not going to be going as often now.

Ammo Hunting In Houston

I ran across a couple of guys at the HGCA show this week end that claim they are getting some 308, 168gr. Match King ammo in. The are in Huffman, Texas and will deliver case lots to Houston. One of the owners works in Houston and will bring it down to some pre-arranged spot.
Their name is: RS&D Enterprises LLC, Telephone Number: 713-705-4089.
I plan on buying some from them myself. Roz

Scarce?

I drove all the way down to Carter Country a few weekends ago. I needed ammo for my .380. Does anyone know where I could get some more? I'm just outside of Houston in Katy. I'm on the waiting list at most shops around here. Thanks.

Go to the Houston Gun Show - coming up in about ten days - and I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of it there.

Walmarts in east Texas starting to get decent size orders in, instead of the one box shipments like they have been getting. Checking at 3 Walmarts in Longview, Tyler & Kilgore area, all had full shelves .380 up through .45ACP. Maybe it'll start making it's way into Houston area before long. Until then, on line seems to be where most folks go. Still can be pricey & may have to pay freight, but depending on where you buy it, no sales tax.
