If that's the case, I definitely not be voting him for re-election. That and my ratings of him have steadily falling.

As a Texan I can tell you there is a sort of political exhaustion concerning Rick Perry. The only reason he won in the last governor's race was because the votes were divided among four candidates. The total votes of the three other candidates definitely exceeded the vote for Perry. If Sarah Palin wants to come to Texas to invigorate a Perry campaign she had better drop the popular girl/cheerleader of conservatives front and learn about problems in Texas then provide actual solutions. Otherwise, the press will treat her as a sort of political joke that will reflect how we will see her. If abortion is your political hot button then what can you say about Perry? He seems not to have a record of doing anything against abortion. Kay Bailey Hutchinson has a exhibited a very true grasp of the situation. It is past time for Perry to go. She is popular and respected by most Texas voters. If she runs for governor against Perry his political ship will at last go the way of the Titanic. Sarah Palin's national political capital will join the Lusitania in taking a torpedo hit if she tries to help Perry. |
