| Thanks Me and the family just got back from visiting your lovely state. And we loved it. We stayed in San Antonio and travelled to Corpus, Aransas, Boda, New Brunsfedles[sp?],Port Anansas Ingleside. You folks are the nicest I have ever met, We couldn't believe how clean Texas is and how you embrace your history. We never heard a single person swear the whole time we were there. It has been a dream of mine to see Texas and the Alamo since I was a kid, and I wasn't dissapointed even though the weather was a little damp. Take a bow Texans, you deserve it . Real class. We will be back.

Nope, but I did bring back some acorns. Met a couple of soon to be medics from Arkansas that were going home from 8 weeks of training. Fine young men, actually we met alot of young men and women that were headed to the sandbox, some from florida, new orleans, texas new mexico. Each and everyone of them were class acts, proud to serve. You guys must be very proud. I know they impressed me, I thanked as many as I could. their country. |

Hi there hemi. Glad to hear you had a good time. I don't live in the particular area you visited, but I'll say your welcome, just in case none of those folks see your post. Texas has a FEW old sore heads, but most are like those you met. I wasn't born here, but I got here as soon as I could!

Sounds like fun toolman. Enjoyed would be an understatement. Texas has so much history and stuff to do. I would miss our mountains but I could see our family there. |

HEMI, glad you had a good time here in Texas, you should come to Houston in February for the rodeo. BTW, we love visiting Canada, we were in Vancouver last year, what a beautiful city and friendly folks.

Hemi,Thanks for the nice words about our state, and I'm glad you enjoyed visiting our great state. It's nice to hear from folks that have came through your home state and had a pleasant experience. I have been to Canada several times in my life and with the exception of Quebec (French speaking) I always enjoyed my time there. Come back again, and let us know if you plan to and maybe we can meet.
