Question G2 vs Old contender

I've heard that the G2 can't match the old contender's trigger. How much "worse" is the G2? Is it still better than the average off the shelf revolver?

Who told you that? Maybe out of the box it's not as perfect, but they are also a lot less expensive then they used to be. The one's I've gotten in all are very crisp and range about 4 to 4.5 lbs.

The G2 has a lot more refinement or the old Contenders. Though not adjustable it is easily slicked up to a good trigger.

I'm not so sure about the G2's trigger being non-adjustable. When I bought mine, the guy I bought it from adjusted the pull weight to about 1.5 lbs., and it really helped me shoot better.
