| I am partial to T/C. I have been shooting the old style contender and I love those guns. I have one frame for rifles and one for pistols. The only reason I have not purchased an encore is the money but I am sure one is in my future at some point. I have not recieved a bad barrel yet and I own six. I believe they are a good quality gun. |

| I'm planning on picking a T/C Encore Rifle up in .375 H&H after Christmas. I've sold many T/C in the past, and have never heard anything bad about them. They're a great gun, and worth the investment.

| I really don't see the advantages of the ProHunter and I think it's a little over-priced. I'll stick with the standard Encore receiver. I currently have 223 and 25-06 barrels, both of which shoot about 3/4 moa with handloads. I'm planning on getting a second receiver and doing a custom camo color-dipping job on a complete rifle and scope. |

| I like TC. They have good rifles, good selection of barrels, and good fit and finish. With that said though, for the money and for my single shot needs, NEF/H&R fills all my needs in this department. Not quite as many calibers offered as TC, but then again I can buy 2 barrels from NEF for the price of 1 TC barrel.... MarlinHR Home H & R Firearms: Customer Support |
