| TC Encore 454 Casull Good evening gentlemen, This is daddus1 and as you have alredy figured out I'm a newby. A newby to this site but not to the world of hunting but with questions and problems like everyone. Any way here is my problem. I have a 454 Casull in the Thompson Encore and when I shoot the very heavy loads my scope keeps sliding back. They are Millet rings and one guy said to put 4 rings on instead of 2. What do you guys think??? Thanks, daddus1 ![]() |

| If your millet rings are tight and there is no gap, then they need some file work so they will tighten on the scope with some torque on the screws...I shot rifle Cartridge Contenders and NEVER had my scopes move. Rich

| Take rings apart and sprinkle rosin on them and they will hold. |
